Description

This dress is our idea of a fish in the waves. A mix of our Waves, Mud and Lotus print, this piece is a visual graphical treat! Printed on the finest of handwoven, all natural in Kat(iron) using the ajrakh technique.

A magnificent v neck side seam cowled silhouette is a must have this season. Dress it up or dress it down, this is such a statement piece. We are very proud of the softness of the fabric and the softness of the silhouette.

Please note, our styling is anti-fit. Hence most of the garments will have 4-5 inches of ease.
The Textile

A mix of Lotus, Waves and Mud. A true collaboration of Paon and Artisans. This dress is our version of a line drawing of a Lotus Pond. This beautiful yet graphical and Natural print is developed in collaboration with artisan Sajjad Khatri, as a part of our Children of Artisans series. It is printed on fine handwoven cotton, woven by expert weavers in Murshidabad, West Bengal.
Wash Care

It is advisable to wash the garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as this could lead to variation in colour.

Do not bleach

Iron or steam with warm heat

Hand wash separately

The textile is a 100% Cotton handwoven by our weavers in West Bengal.

As this garment is dyed in natural dyes, colour bleeding is not uncommon. The colour will stabilise after a few washes. The fading and bleeding result in the most beautiful fades with time.
