With Prakrut, we have created a collection of very contemporary and graphic prints (staying true to the Paon style) and these have been executed using the beautiful and extensive process of Ajrakh Block Printing by expert artisans.

In this garment two prints, Maya and Jaal have been featured in a stunning hue of pink achieved by dyeing with madder roots. The base fabric is unbelached pure cotton.

Maya is an illusion of the positive and negative.

Jaal is a beautiful lattice of Lines and Dots.

It is advisable to wash the garment seperately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as this could lead to variation in colour.

As this garment is dyed in natural dyes, colour bleeding is not uncommon. The colour will stabilise after a few washes. The fading and bleeding result in the most beautiful fades with time.
