Terra aakar culottes are made in the most comfortable and soft cotton. Aakar has been acheived through and extensive process of multiple dip dyes in madder root.

SS/22 Prakrut

With Prakrut, we have created a collection of very contemporary and graphic prints (staying true to the Paon style) and these have been executed using the beautiful and extensive process of Ajrakh Block Printing by expert artisans.

In this garment Aakar print has been featured in an earthy tone of brown achieved by double dip dyeing with madder roots. The base fabric is unbelached pure cotton.

Aakar is fundamental. The beginning of everything.

(Please note, irregularities or imperfections and colour variation are a part of the beauty of the hand crafted process and should be accepted and cherished.)

It is advisable to wash the garment seperately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as this could lead to variation in colour.

As this garment is dyed in natural dyes, colour bleeding is not uncommon. The colour will stabilise after a few washes. The fading and bleeding result in the most beautiful fades with time.
